How the website works
Search runs in your browser. The publisher has not added advertising or audience analytics. The website does not send your searches or saved selection to a contact database. There are no contact or subscription forms here: contact links open your email application, and newsletter subscriptions are managed on LinkedIn.
Saved selection and reading position
Bookmarks and personal references remain in this browser’s local storage on this device until deleted or the storage is cleared. They provide the selection you choose to create. Reading positions use browser session storage. The website does not synchronise these data or send them to the publisher. Export your selection from “My selection” before clearing the website’s storage in your browser settings.
External players and links
YouTube, Spotify and Heyzine are not loaded automatically. Each player has an activation button. Clicking it permits a connection to that service for that player. The service may then receive your IP address, browser information and its own identifiers, and use trackers under its policies. You may close the player at any time; this does not erase data already sent or trackers set by the service. Your choice is not stored for future visits.
Sharing controls use your device’s functions or open your chosen service after a click. No third-party social widget runs in the background.
Hosting and security
Requests needed to display the website send technical data, including IP address and connection information, to the hosting provider. The purposes are service delivery, security and incident diagnosis, based on the legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure. Retention and technical recipients depend on the hosting service and its security obligations. Processing or transfers outside the European Union may occur under the applicable contractual safeguards. The website does not claim exclusively French or European hosting.
Email enquiries
If you contact the publication, your contact details and message are used to answer and follow up on your enquiry or prepare services you request. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in responding or precontractual steps you request. Exchanges are retained for the handling and necessary follow-up of the enquiry; documents subject to legal retention requirements are kept for the corresponding period. Please do not send individual medical data.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, or object. Email the contact above and describe your request. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. You may complain to the CNIL. For data processed directly by an external service, also consult that service’s rights request process.
